But even that argument is BS. If the polls are way off, how does that

discourage Trump voters from coming out (thinking "Damn, no way we'll win") vs Biden voters not coming out (thinking "Cool, we've got this in the bag!").

If 'bad polls' were a plot of some sort, then they hurt both sides.

If anything, how far off the polls were have me thinking that Trump and his supporters found some way to cheat to actually end up being so close. Biden up by 4 (or whatever it was) in Florida, only to lose by 3 was well outside the supposed statistical margin of error.
